Autism Evaluation
Evaluations are individualized and include developmental history, direct observation, and age-appropriate assessment tools.
We address concerns that can affect a child’s learning potential, including language and speech delays, symptoms of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and features of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).
We assess for possible seizures, including seizures without obvious outward signs, and determine whether an electroencephalogram (EEG) is clinically indicated.
Follow-up Care
Follow-up appointments include medication adjustments to address your child’s progress and treatment expectations.
Care recommendations are discussed in plain language so the family can understand the current situation, progress, and goals of treatment.
Parent Resources
Families receive support identifying educational and therapy resources, including guidance for school planning conversations and referral coordination when needed.

Dr. Kheir M. Al-Zouhayli, MD
A pediatric neurologist with 30 years of experience.
Dr. Al-Zouhayli specializes in autism management and child development, with an individualized approach to care alongside applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy.
Training
Trained at the University of Minnesota.

Pediatrics and Neurology with Special Qualification in Child Neurology.
